GONE- Michael Grant
I am going to do a review on GONE by Michael Grant.
This book is about a population of children trapped in a giant snow globe (without the snowy part) with no grown ups!
The main character of this book is a young surfer called Sam who has a strange power where he can shoot lightening bolts out of his hands. Throughout the story his powers start to develop creating drama and excitement. I recommend this book to people who like sci-fi and anything to do with super heros!
My Sister Jodie- Jacqueline Wilson
I read 'My Sister Jodie' a while ago but I still remember the book clearly. It doesn't start off slow and the characters backgrounds are very good.
At the end I was in tears. I recommend this book to ANYONE!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- Roald Dahl
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl is very good. It tells you about Charlie who is very poor and he stays with his mum and his 2 grans and 2 granddads. But then Charlie finds 50p in the snow and he gets a chocolate bar and in it there is a ticket to Wonka's factory and he goes there with his granddad Joe and.... [you'll have to read it to find out what happens at the end!!]
The Hunger Games- Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games is a book trilogy by Suzanne Collins. In this trilogy, Katniss Everdeen is selected from her home district (District 12) to participate in the Hunger Games, a violent competition in which 24 teenagers are sent into an arena, but only one can come out alive! This is an extremely good trilogy, it's full of suspense and I would definitely recommend it to others! :)
Ally's World- Karen McCombie
Ally's World is a series of books about Ally Love, a teenager living in London. Throughout the series, several random and funny things happen to Ally and the rest of her family/friends. Main characters in the series include Ally, her best friends Kyra and Sandie, her siblings Rowan, Tor and Linn, and her four cats. This is a brilliant series; it's very funny and random!
